Valve Technician(s)
Description
Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the position is responsible for performing repairs, tests of PSV and API/ANSI valves; final test and release of product for shipping; communicating information to Customers and Suppliers; input of data to maintain records; product assembly; and various other duties as required. Conducts activities in accordance with all company policies, including quality control / safety programs.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Repairs in-house.
2. Valve service and assembly.
3. Respond to customer inquiries as required - troubleshooting.
4. Computer input - repair orders, etc..
5. Maintains adequate inventory of spare parts.
6. Field work - work in the field (overnight) as required.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Grade XII. Diploma
Technical and mechanical aptitude
Clean, Valid Class 5 Drivers Liscence
H2S, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG
Related oilfield experience an asset.
Additional Skills Required:
Requires computer skills, product training, electronic/mechanical repair training, ability to work with detail, good organizational skills, solid math skills, superb time management skills, and excellent problem solving ability.
